Frostmelt is normally considered the beginning of the Aeon. In this time of year, one can gather berries, and it is the only season in which crops are recommended to be planted, as crops require 3 seasons to grow and die by Shiverstide. Notable by its light green grass, and light green leaves, Frostmelt is the Hazordhu equivalent of Spring. The temperature is moderate, and the recommended clothing is normal Phluf clothes.

It is preceded by Shiverstide and succeeded by Bloomstide.
