Mining
From Hazordhu 2 Wiki
Mining is equally, if not more, important compared to woodcutting.
To mine, a pickaxe must be equipped in the main hand. Double-click a mineral source to begin extracting that material.
There are many different sources of minerals in the world. They are(in no particular order) sand, dirt, clay, stone, metal, and Hazium.
Digging sand and dirt requires a shovel in the main hand and double-clicking yourself.
- Sand is acquired by digging into sand, found in the desert or the shore by the ocean or surrounding ponds and lakes.
Rivers are normally bordered by grass, not sand.
- Dirt is acquired by digging into grass. It may also be extracted by mining the brown cave walls.
Clay, stone, metal, and Hazium can be extracted from boulders or from cave walls. Cave walls containing minerals have patches of that color inside them.
- Clay boulders are light brown. Clay deposits (inside cave walls) are the same light brown color.
- Stone boulders are plain gray. Fully-gray cave walls also provide stone.
- Metal boulders are stone-gray with patches of dark gray. Cave walls with dark gray patches contain metal.
- Hazium boulders are stone-gray with patches of light, glowing blue. Cave walls with glowing blue patches contain Hazium.
