Woodcutting is a very important resource gathering technique in the world of Hazordhu. Logs gathered from trees can be used to build wooden structures, furniture, and most tools.

There are two different types of sources that logs can be extracted from. The most abundant are trees, followed by bushes.

There are four types of trees; two common, three jungle, three types of cacti that also give logs, and one type of bush.

• The wider common trees can have 25 logs chopped from them before disappearing. The thinner common ones can give 15 logs.
• All three cacti give 2 logs each.
• Bushes give 5 logs each.
• A hatchet must be equipped in the main hand to chop trees. Double-click the tree to begin gathering a log.

It is not possible to chop wood while riding a harnessed animal.
